ECHOES of Departures, 2025

ECHOES of Departures presents a series of large-format visual tableaus created for the exhibition accompanying the conference on the Czechoslovak–Hungarian population exchange.

The task was to design the full visual identity and layout of the printed material. The compositions synthesize archival documents, historical photographs, custom-made infographics, maps, and a comprehensive timeline. Together, they outline the social, political, and human dimensions of this difficult and often overlooked chapter of 20th‑century history.

The tableaus aim to create a clear visual narrative that helps visitors understand the complexity of the events while honoring the individuals and communities affected by the forced population movements.
